The new season kicks off tomorrow! Having celebrated the Centenary last season, marked with our return to the UEFA Champions League and a momentous win in the Copa del Rey, the club and its fans are raring to go for season 19/20. Expectations are high but the club remains determined to scaling new heights.
Aligned to this vision, the club retains its commitment to its philosophy of promoting its younger generation of footballers. The raucous reception for our young gems such as Kang-in Lee and Ferran Torres during their introduction to the Orange Cup match against Inter Milan last week only serves to highlight the shared dream between the club, the technical team and fans to see our aspiring young footballers donning our team jersey.
As many fans would know, our Academy products have brought great honour to the club during their involvement with their respective national teams during the summer. Our youth players have risen through the ranks to prove their worth in the first team and in their national teams. This brings great excitement to everyone involved in the club. With the club challenging in four competitions, their hunger and desires will add greater firepower to our pursuit of more successes.
This is the beginning of the new era for the club. Together, with fellow supporters from all around the world, as one voice, let us support our team and players as they step onto the field tomorrow.
